Episode 33

The Wacky World of Woke Theatre.

Mary McDonald-Lewis lives in Portland, Oregon.

a union voice actor since 1980 and a dialect coach for stage, film & television since 2000, she’s known for Lois Lane on "Superfriends", Lady Jaye on "GI Joe", and most recently as I.V.A.N in "Buzz Lightyear".

You’ve also heard her as the voice of OnStar, guiding millions safely home.

As a dialect coach she’s worked with Patrick Stewart, Juliette Binoche, David Tennant, and hundreds more.

She is also a writer, journalist, public speaker and lover of all animals, most especially dogs.

Around 2018 Mary noticed rising intolerance in the arts, and was cancelled by the theater community in Portland for refusing the compelled speech of pronoun declaration.

Mary is deeply grateful for this, as it liberated her to write and speak out on the subject, which she has been doing ever since.

Clifton Duncan

With sharp wit, striking good looks, and a voice built for listening, veteran professional actor and singer Clifton Duncan is as powerful a presence among content creators as he is on stage and on-screen.

He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from New York University's elite Graduate Acting Program (a subsidiary of the Tisch School of the Arts).

In addition to multiple television guest-star appearances (including on the popular "NCIS: New Orleans") and having starred on Broadway (in "The Play that Goes Wrong", co-produced by J. J. Abrams), his impressive body of work--from Shakespearean Tragedy to Musical Comedy, and beyond--has been celebrated on many of America's most prestigious stages.
